Sacred Sound & Yoga Workshop with Resonance - 1st February 2009, 2-5pm

This
workshop combines restorative yoga, healing sound and voicework in a sequence
designed to relax and open up the body, access the voice and to gently connect
us with our deeper self within. The therapeutic sounds aid the body and
mind to relax in the asanas while the stilling effects of the postures help
to integrate our inner vibrations. Narayani and Jason Kalidas bring all
these different elements together in the workshop using yoga, voicework,
dynamic Tabla rhythms, sound journeys on Indian Classical Flute and closing
with an individual Didgeridoo sound bath in the final relaxation. No previous
experience of sound work is required.
