Yoga provides a complete set of tools for managing situations, relationships, change and for living to our full potential. When yoga overflows out of the weekly class and into our lives, it starts to become a process of self-transformation. When yoga practices become a part of our daily routine, something begins to shift in our bodies, minds, emotions and energy. Life begins to reveal itself in ways we hadn't previously considered.
The ultimate aim in yoga is to develop Self knowledge. This course provides a systematic introduction to tools for self-observation which result in the ability to reflect more impartially and act more wisely; to live each moment to its maximum, and to be aware on all levels of our being at all times.
These tools for self-observation will be developed alongside a daily sadhana of physical practices (postures, breathing techniques, Yoga Nidra & meditation) between course dates. To get the most out of this course, attendance of at least 3 days, plus the retreat weekend is recommended.
